Introducing FutureBank MCP for agentic banking

A governed way for customers', employees' and developers' AI to reach banking capabilities, without giving AI uncontrolled access to your systems.

By FutureBank team

Customers will expect to bank through AI assistants. Employees will expect AI to help them service customers and run platforms. Developers will expect their AI tools to understand banking capabilities directly. FutureBank MCP is how banks meet those expectations safely.

What FutureBank MCP does

FutureBank MCP exposes the canonical banking model to AI through the Model Context Protocol: capability discovery, context, permissions and tools. AI gets a governed way to find and use banking capabilities, from onboarding and accounts to cards, payments and beneficiaries.

  • For customers: bring your bank into the customer's AI assistant, with consent, limits and approvals in place.
  • For employees: conversational BankCentral and BankOps for servicing and operations teams.
  • For developers: MCP access to banking capabilities plus a RAG-ready knowledge layer, in a sandbox with mock data.

AI proposes. FutureBank governs. The bank executes.

A language model can understand a request. It shouldn't decide how a payment executes against a core banking system. Every request passes the bank's own controls (identity, consent, permissions, limits, policy, approvals and audit) before FutureBank invokes a deterministic banking capability.

Agentic experience. Deterministic execution.
